I just want it to hold my camera bad more securely against my side while I'm shooting outdoors. I don't like it bouncing around as I walk. :)

i wouldn't pay 10 dollars for something like that when you can buy the materials for no more than half the price and make it yourself, not to menchan that crafting is enjoyable.

any idea how i attach this to the messenger bag ?
Sharpe19 Featured By Owner Nov 16, 2010  Professional Artisan Crafter
I have one and can tell ya. :) With a messenger pack, with the shoulder strap that doesn't come off, you have to get creative. The kit comes with 2 straps. One that has a loop on the end, and one with a clip. The clip is easy enough, just hook it to the pack itself. The loop is where you need the creativity. I just cut the threads holding the loop together so it became jsut a normal strap. Wrap the loop around the shoulder strap and sew. V'oala. I can promise you it's one very handy li'l system and I absolutely love it. Best of luck!
YinYangAngel Featured By Owner Dec 6, 2010
thanks i figured thats what i would have to do, kinda annoys me though how the strap with the loop seems to always crumple up when i wear it, might have to get creative to fix that too :/

yeah... mine does that too... I wish you luck hun ^-^

Why do you need backpack, they have STRAPS!
Imaginem Featured By Owner Jun 14, 2010
Backpacks are much more comftorable for me. It is easier for me to use them because they are supported by both sholedrs, so one of them is not taking all of the weight. I also have a lot of experience with backpacks, because they are my primary carying case. Having the stuff on my back also leaves my hands the most free, and gives me more balance than messenger bags, which tend to slap at my legs. They are larger than some bags, and backpacks can be large without being much more cumbersome than a smaller one, depending uppon what you put in it. I just gave you more of an answer than you needed... sorry. The long and the short of it: I AM A BACKPACK-GIRL!
Raging-Demon-666 Featured By Owner Jun 15, 2010
But hey don't need to sell backpacks, they have motherfucking STRAPS! :D

hahaha this argument will never end. Im more of a back pack person I have a bad back and I need support
hex535 Featured By Owner Dec 15, 2009
if this keeps it secure enough to your body to be able to do parkour with it, then i want it XD
synyster-gates-A7X Featured By Owner Dec 19, 2009  Hobbyist Digital Artist
wearing a bag while freerunning would weigh you down and change your center of balance.
hex535 Featured By Owner Dec 19, 2009
you have a good point there.
IcyWolfling Featured By Owner Dec 21, 2009
Sometimes things just have to be carried. A strap is helpful-- better than nothing, anyway. It must be an improvement on the amount of uncontrolled flailing messenger bags usually do at high speeds...

(I don't own this set of straps, by the way. I just got a chance to play with a Timbuk2 bag that had a similar arangement.)

ten buck for 2 straps? o-o
ToxicGeneration Featured By Owner Feb 1, 2010
i know right? just use some string lol
IAmAlwaysMe Featured By Owner May 22, 2010

but i agree its expensive, and you could probably get a much better price somewhere else

Can it carry a laptop up to 15'' ?
Plus what contents can this bag hold?
SBMP Featured By Owner Oct 18, 2009
This is only the Biker add on. It's a strap only...
chibone Featured By Owner Oct 19, 2009
oh no wonder. Does the strap work on all one strap bags or something?

NorCalNomad Featured By Owner Jan 12, 2009  Student General Artist
That NOT how you wear a messenger bag...look at Timbuk 2 or Chrome bags and how they do bike straps.
Kirkebyenator Featured By Owner Jan 8, 2009
I absolutely love the idea!

But I'd like a little more information about how it attaches to the bag. The pictures show a metal circle at the base of the bag that the Biker Kit clips onto. Is this metal loop absolutely necessary? I'm basically asking because I'd like to use this for other bags; specifically this one [link] . The strap on the Bag of Holding isn't removable, so I'm thinking that the Biker Kit doesn't work. :(

If this can work with other bags, I'm highly likely to buy it.
