Game Over!

Thu May 24, 2012, 10:35 AM
High Score achieved! After jumping over boulders, dodging fireballs and beating level after level, our two winners made it to the final round and had their designs chosen by our panel of expert judges. It wasn't easy, and the competition was tough, but we are proud to announce the two winning designs!

Fella and Llama Defending by ~reyjdesigns

8-BIT-GLORY by ~nube

Both winners will receive $1,500 cash and 10 units of their hoodie. In addition, each of the winning designs will soon be available for purchase in our Shop! Add £deviantARTGear to your +Watch list, and you'll be notified the minute they go up.

Until next time, congratulations to everyone who participated, and a special congratulations to our two winners.

Feel like playing again? Level up with any of our upcoming Design Challenges!

Next time I enter a DA contest, I suppose I'll ignore all the rules and slap DeviantArt somewhere in there and I'm sure to win.

These are more SNES or GBA than NES.

maybe the point of the rules is to break them. They want people to not be afraid and to try something new, even if that means not following the rules

Both are really cool.

But neither I'd personally wear, I was hoping for something that screamed less lame nerd and more fashion weird.

Props to the first one on the level of detail, but I don't know anyone who'd want to be seen in either. Nevermind that the rules were ignored and that the "winners" only are so because they glorified DA in the product.

At least pretend to be fair in the judging. I knew I'd never win, I did the designs for my own amusement. But there were other designs that followed the rules and were much better than these two.
